Syeda Gulru Hasan

Syeda Gulru Hasan is the Chief Executive Officer of Chabagan. a rooftop garden café and restaurant. She is also CEO of Punoh, a social enterprise that empowers underprivileged women through annual financial support. She also serves as a Director of Store Republic. She previously worked as Director of Binimoy Trade International, a family business.

Her professional journey includes five years of service with the Australian Embassy in Dhaka, working in the Scholarship Department through outsourced employment.
Academically, she earned her Bachelor’s degree from Eden Girls’ College and a Master’s in Finance from the University of Dhaka.

Syeda’s association with Rotary began as a Rotary Ann, where she enthusiastically took part in the projects and activities of Rotary Club of Dhaka.

Since 2020, Syeda has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Dhaka, where she has contributed to various social initiatives and community programs. In the Rotary Year 2024–25, she served as Sergeant-at-Arms, supporting the smooth conduct of meetings and fostering fellowship among members.

Beyond her professional and social commitments, she enjoys music, movies, traveling, exploring new places, and creative sustainability projects, such as crafting new items from disposables. She is passionate about community service, family ties, and social engagement, reflecting her dedication to both professional excellence and humanitarian values.
