Rtn. Mahmud Hasan has over 18 years’ experience in pharmaceutical marketing, international business, business development and corporate affairs. He served Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited, India and Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Limited in various key positions. He has successfully introduced new marketing concepts, established new business and introduced Bangladeshi pharmaceutical products to over 25 countries across 5 continents. Many of those products have already been established as the `Brand Leader’ of their respective market segments. Currently he is the Managing Director and CEO of a Pharmaceutical Company Named MedRx Life Science Limited.
As a recognition of his contribution in modern marketing, he has been awarded fellowship from the Charter Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom. Rtn. Hasan is a graduate from the University of Delhi, India and an expert in Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering. He is also an MBA and a member of the American Marketing Association. He has received training and diplomas in marketing from Malaysia, UK, Switzerland and USA.
He has represented Bangladesh in many international conferences and business delegations where he has highlighted Bangladeshi products in high level meetings with the top government officials of those countries. He has visited more than 70 countries across 6 continents.
As part of his commitment for the development of Bangladeshi brands, he has formed ‘Power Brandz Bangladesh’- an organization which conduct research and promotes Bangladeshi products worldwide. Mr. Hasan is the founder of ‘Marketers Alliance of Bangladesh’, ‘I can Foundation’ and ‘Bangladesh Youth Congress’ He has received more than 20 national and international awards for debating, painting, science projects and business initiatives.
He is the Director of MZ&T (Bangladesh) Limited, MZ&T Communications Limited, MZ&T Foods Limited, MZ&T Healthcare Limited and MZ&T Technologies Limited.
